Spain and Portugal, together for the 2030 World Cup

The president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), Luis Rubiales, and the president of the Portuguese Federation, Fernando Gomes, “Ratified” in Lisbon an agreement to promote the joint candidacy for the organization of the 2030 World Cup.

Both federations “will share experiences at a technical level, promote and strengthen integrity and encourage the formation of human capital through technical support, as well as the organization of sporting events between teams.”

Likewise and by virtue of the agreement signed before the friendly meeting between Spain with Portugal in stadium Jose Alvalade from Lisbon “Technical assistance projects, strategic plans between the two federations, specific plans for coaches, as well as referees, will be launched, and the development of women’s football will be promoted.”
