DISCUSSION
The potential for some strong to possibly severe thunderstorms will likely focus this weekend from parts of the Great Lakes into perhaps the Northeast with an eastward-migrating mid-level trough. It is uncertain the degree of instability that can develop in a northward-advecting moist sector across these regions. By early next week, the upper-air pattern becomes more progressive across the contiguous United States before model variability becomes large.
