WAP diss track claiming to be Lil Wayne goes viral

A video has gone viral on YouTube that disses Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion in their new song WAP. The diss track was uploaded on a channel called Swillz, and claims to be Lil Wayne rapping.

The track was uploaded to YouTube on August 24th, and has already gained over 600,000 views in under 24 hours.

Throughout the song, which uses the beat from WAP, the rapper who is allegedly Lil Wayne calls out Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion, making many insults about them both. But is it actually Lil Wayne?

Twitter users are confused

After the track was released, many people took to Twitter to try and find some answers.

One Twitter user said: “Did Lil Wayne really make a diss song about Megan on the WAP beat?!”

Another said: “So Lil Wayne dissed Megan on the WAP beat somebody said it’s not him and another person said it was him does anybody know who it is?”

Some people even started tweeting Lil Wayne directly about the diss track, calling him out for the things he allegedly said.

The Lil Wayne video is fake

So is the diss track actually Lil Wayne rapping? The answer is most likely no. Whilst it hasn’t actually been confirmed, the comments section of the YouTube video is being flooded with messages calling out the video for pretending to be Lil Wayne.

The diss track is notably being used as a way to try and start fake drama online, and it’s definitely worked. Many people are falling for it and are actually believing that the track was made by Lil Wayne – but it’s all fake news.

If you listen to the voice, it’s actually pretty clear that it’s not him. All you have to do is listen to one of Lil Wayne’s tracks and compare it, and you’ll see that they actually sound nothing alike.

This is simply just another attempt to start internet beef and get a bit of attention, and it’s actually pretty slanderous towards Lil Wayne who clearly doesn’t hold those opinions of Megan.

Now we just have to wait and see if Lil Wayne debunks the diss track himself!
