Union urges Northeast govs to place labor pacts in adult-use cannabis laws


The biggest union representing cannabis workers nationwide is urging a Northeast governors coalition to consist of labor peace agreements in any joint adult-use regulatory framework. The agreements contact for employers not to interfere with union organizing activities. The United Meals and Industrial Workers International Union created the request in a letter to six of the region’s governors. A group of Northeast governors met lately to talk about coordinating adult-use legalization.
